As a school family, we will be reading the adventures of
THE MIRACULOUS JOURNEY OF EDWARD TULANE by Kate DiCamillo
This heartwarming story follows Edward, a porcelain rabbit. In the 1930s, Grandmother gives Edward to Abilene who adores him and treats Edward as a member of the family. While on vacation, two mischievous boys throw Edward overboard and he ends up in the depths of the ocean. He is fished out and then passed from one owner to the next for several years. THIS IS A STORY OF LOVE, HOPE, HOPELESSNESS, EXPLORATION, SADNESS, HAPPINESS...come along for the journey.
